Description

This 25cm footed serving bowl from the Wedgwood Sailor's Farewell collection artfully showcases the renowned designer Kit Kemp's whimsical story. Crafted in white bone china, the bowl features a pale blue linen-look, symbolising the original fabric pattern. An illustration of the beloved waving goodbye with a red scarf is displayed, while sea creatures and a faraway house are also depicted. Further embellished with a deep blue and hand-applied 22 carat gold rim, the collection brings Kit Kemp's fondness for folkloric narratives to life. The entire collection is used in two of the boutique hotels which Kit co-owns in New York and London and each piece is backstamped for authenticity and presented in a Wedgwood blue signature box to make an ideal gift.
