Description

Exquisitely crafted with fine bone china, this 31cm plate features an enchanting array of motifs that tell the story of The Sailor’s Farewell. Designer Kit Kemp created the design, which has a pale blue linen border, a compass, a ship with rust red sails, a whale, silvery fish, an octopus, and a lighthouse, all exquisitely decorated in a deeper blue and adorned with hand-applied 22 carat gold trim. This design is part of Kit's second collaboration with Wedgwood, showing her love of folklore, and is presented in a Wedgwood blue gift box. Authentic and stylish, it is used in two of the Kit Kemp-owned boutique hotels in New York and London.
