Established in Australia in 1995 Maxwell & Williams set out to produce cutting edge design at affordable prices. The origins of the company stretch back to 1963 when it was an import business called HAG owned by Harry and Anna Grundman. In 1978 the company was taken over by their son Maxwell and his friend and mentor William Ryan and Maxwell & Williams was born.
