Villeroy and Boch Artesano Provencal Verdure
Artesano Provençal Verdure is the perfect symbiosis of artistic lightness and striking form. The hand-painted floral design by renowned artist Isabelle de Borchgrave brings a touch of urban romanticism to the clear lines of Artesano Original, that is in complete harmony with the German and French roots of Villeroy & Boch. Countess Isabelle de Borchgrave d'Altena was born in Brussels, Belgium in 1946 and is a prominent Belgian artist and sculptor, best known for her colourful paintings and intricately painted paper sculptures. Her fresh decoration in contemporary country style is unique in evoking the Provence and its way of life: wild roses and buds in violet, geranium flowers in vibrant hues of orange and red as well as delicate rosemary green tendrils naturally adorn the differently decorated dishes of the Artesano Provencal Verdure pattern. The range is made from high-quality Premium Porcelain and are suitable for everyday use and casual entertaining. The Artesano Provencal Verdure Dinner Plate is available in two styles either
decorated or
plain which can be effectively used as an accent plate when combined with the decorated Salad Plate or
Bread & Butter Plate which has full cover decoration. Villeroy & Boch have kept faithful to the regions casual dining ethos and offers some authentic alternatives which are not usual amongst British Dinnerware. Both the Artesano Provencal Verdure
Espresso Cup and
Mug are available without handles for those who wish to immerse themselves in the casual dining experience common in the Provencal region. Artesano Provencal Verdure, like all Villeroy & Boch ranges, is discounted by 20% at Kings and Queens.
