Arthur Price Titanic
The Titanic was billed as the worlds most luxurious liner. Not only was the ship built to the highest specifications but everything on board was selected to add to the opulence and comfort of the first class passengers. Arthur Price was commissioned to make the cutlery for the Captains table. The majority of the original cutlery is thought to still be on board the ill fated ship although some was recovered from the sea bed in 1984. To mark the 100th anniversary Arthur Price went back to their archives to faithfully reproduce this elegant cutlery, accurate in every detail. The cutlery handles were designed with a panel reed design, strong moulded groves ran from the base to the top collar. Each knife blade bears the logo of the White Star Line as did the original. Bold, tactile and made by the very best Arthur Price craftsmen, this is an opportunity to own a little bit of history. Titanic is available as loose pieces and include Table knives, forks and spoons, Dessert knives forks and spoons, soup spoon, fish blade and fork and coth tea spoons and coffee spoons. There is a 7 piece setting and a number of serving pieces including cheese knife and cake server as was supplied for the ships maiden voyage. All pieces are supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
