Arthur Price Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen
Laurence Llewelyn Bowen has been working with Arthur Price to create a cutlery collection which reflects Laurence’s individual style. Laurence is perhaps one of Britain’s most recognised designers. He first came into the public eye through the hugely popular BBC Changing Rooms programme and established himself as a designer with a love of the theatrical. The cutlery collections created for Arthur Price each bear his unmistakable design signature.
Laurence Llewelyn Bowen’s Echo collection is subtle and understated with soft sweeping curves designed to “Echo” the sense of sound and motion. The Echo range is perhaps best known for its blade standing design applied to the knives. This produces and interesting focal point to any table setting. For Laurence’s
Feast Collection he took his inspiration from metalworkers associated with the Arts and Crafts movement such as C R Ashbee and Archibald Knox. Rounded handles handle forged from three distinct parts to create the hammered effect panel. The third collection is
Valentina, a range inspired by silhouettes from the British Countryside. Valentina’s plain sleek lines are subtly decorated with a relief double collar at the top of the handle adding Laurence’s signature drama and theartre to every piece. All Arthur Price Laurence Llewelyn Bowen cutlery is made from 18:10 stainless steel and is available loose or as sets.
