Royal Worcester Ltd
went into administration, it was
purchased by Portmeirion
Potteries Ltd in the same
year. Portmeirion have
launched some of Royal
Worcester's
best loved and most widely
collected patterns for
Christmas 2009. Classic White
and Evesham Gold will both
be
available by the end of the
year. With a lot of the
production now moved back
to the UK, these collections
are now backed by the
unrivalled quality of
Portmeirion. Owing to the use
of new and improved
production techniques and
decorating processes there
may be some
variation between the pieces
now produced by Portmeirion
and ranges produced by
Royal
Worcester. Portmeirion
hope
to continue to launch the
more Royal
Worcester designs
